The GSZH Business Founders’ and Service Centre in Hückelhoven represents a milestone in the change in the economic structure of the County of Heinsberg.
Since 1991, the year in which the closure of the Sophia-Jacoba colliery was decided, the centre has provided start-ups and young companies with a physical base to help them launch their own business successfully in the County of Heinsberg.
To date, more than 150 companies have chosen GSZH as their temporary business location and created a total of around 750 jobs.
This success is due to the centre’s large and varied range of facilities, its excellent infrastructure and support, and especially its open attitude towards interested parties from practically all sectors.
